Estoy sentada frente a mi ordenador y ahora mismo no sé bien como empezar esta reseña. Te dejé ir es de esas historias de las que si te cuentan algún detalle te la fastidian por completo, así que voy a hablar poco del argumento, en la sinopsis ya tenéis unas pinceladas para que os pique el gusanillo. Sólo diré que esta historia no es para nada lo que parece, tiene varios giros que te dejan con la boca abierta, que no te esperas y que agradeces. Una historia contada en dos partes y desde diferentes puntos de vista y personas, narrada en primera persona, en tercera e incluso en segunda. Ésta última me ha puesto los pelos de punta, si lo leéis seguro que estaréis de acuerdo conmigo. Las dos partes están claramente diferenciadas y el final de la primera es el primer super giro argumental de esta historia. Aunque quiero ser sincera con todos vosotros, la nota que le he dado se ha visto resentida por esa primera parte. Para mí es demasiado extensa y hay muy poca acción, conocemos a los personajes principales y sus sufrimientos e inquietudes mientras la investigación policial pasa por una época de sequía en cuánto a pistas y eso por desgracia se refleja directamente en la trama.
Ha llevado una vida intensa, viviendo en numerosos países, entre ellos España. Habla varios idiomas y es de origen judío. [ 2] Saltó a la fama por su libro The happy hooker ( La prostituta feliz), que fue traducido a varios idiomas y vendió millones de copias. [ 3] Además de este libro, ha publicado varios otros relacionados con el sexo y la prostitución. Es considerada un icono de la liberación sexual. [ 4] Durante años, tuvo una columna de opinión en la revista, de contenido erótico, Penthouse, donde daba consejos sobre sexualidad.
